Matthew Tuck

Matthew "Matt" Tuck (born 20 January 1980 in Bridgend, Wales) is an English rock musician, vocalist, lead/rhythm guitarist and longtime leader of the British metalcore band Bullet for My Valentine, as well as backing vocalist, guitarist and leader. groove metal supergroup AxeWound.

Matt was born on January 20, 1980 in Bridgend, Wales. As a child, he was fond of heavy metal of the 80s, because of this he began to play the guitar. In 1996, together with fellow college student Michael Thomas, he founded his first punk rock band Trauma. In 1998, Matt and Mike formed a new alternative metal band called Jeff Killed John. Over time, Matt's current team, Bullet for my Valentine, was formed from it. Tak is the main composer and lyricist for the group's songs. He shares lead guitar with Michael Paget on some of the band's songs on the first three albums.

Matt has experienced many depressive situations, and therefore many of the lyrics written by Matt are devoted to depression, unhappy love and death. He is the tallest member of the group, his height is 180 cm.

Matthew took part in the recording of the Apocalyptica album, performing the song Repressed with Max Cavalera.

During a tour of Russia, he was invited to one of the stadiums in Nizhny Novgorod to watch bandy, and since then, says Matt, it has become his favorite sport.
